You should know your rights when shopping online
At play69.co.uk we want you to be totally delighted every time you shop with us, we do recognise though that from time to time you might want to cancel an order or return unwanted items so we provide you your statutory rights as well as a 30 day return period. These are explained below.
Your statutory rights
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations you are entitled to cancel your order for any reason at all up to 7 working days from the day after the date of delivery of your order. We welcome this and encourage any of our customers not entirely satisfied with their purchases to cancel their order by returning their goods. We regret though that we cannot accept returns of video, audio, software and video games if the seal has been broken neither can we accept returns of items that have been personalised for you. To cancel your order please wrap it securely and send it back to us to arrive within 7 working days from the day after the date of delivery to the following address:

You are responsible for the costs of returning the items unless the item is faulty or damaged or has been delivered in error. In the case of faulty items or incorrect delivery we will arrange collection of the item(s) from you.
Additional 30 day return period.
We want you to be totally delighted with your purchases so as an addition to your statutory rights of cancellation you can also return unwanted purchases to us up to 30 days from the date you receive them. To return an item outside of the statutory return period and before the 30 days are up you must comply with the following conditions:
- The item must be in it's original condition and wrapping and must not have been opened.
- The item must arrive here within the 30 working day period.
As soon as we receive your returned item(s) we will arrange a refund of the price you paid for the item as well as all or a proportion of the delivery charge paid for that order. If you are only returning part of an order we will, where possible, assign the delivery value pro-rata to the number of items shipped to you.
When is the delivery date?
For the purposes of returns we consider the delivery date to be as follows:
- For express delivery the next working day after the date of shipping - this can be proved as you will need to have signed a proof of delivery (POD) in order to receive the goods
- For standard delivery it is the third working day from the date of shipping
If you consider your delivery date to be outside of these times then we will consider any claim made by you so long as there is supporting evidence of the date of delivery.
