Making A Purchase
We have tried to make buying from play69.co.uk easy (please let us know if we can improve). Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment or you can pay by cheque or postal order made out to The Red Dot Company Ltd. We accept various credit cards except American Express and JCB cards. You may send your credit card information via the Internet or telephone only.

When paying by cheque or postal order please send your remittance to the address stated on the order form clearly stating the order number given at the time of purchase. Your order will be held for 7 days awaiting arrival of your cheque and goods shipped once the funds are cleared into our bank account. If payment is not received within 7 business days your order will be cancelled. No stock can be reserved against cheque payments.

Pictures shown do not necessarily represent stock items and are for reference only. Please base your purchase on the product description.

Shipping And Handling
Shipping and handling are added to each order and the price of this is determined by the delivery service you request and the weight of the items ordered. We deliver your order right away subject to stock being available. We will normally send your order to you within 5 business days, your order will certainly be delivered within 30days. If we cannot ship to you within this time we will contact you to find out your instructions. Currently we can only provide shipping to the UK.

Some items may be dispatched from other locations and your order may not arrive all together. This will not affect the price you pay for delivery.

Back Orders
If any part of your order is not in stock, we will back order for you. Stock is shown on each product page. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
All the prices displayed in the store have VAT added to them at the rate in force on the day you are viewing that item and at a rate applicable to that item. Currently VAT in the UK is 17.5% of the purchase price on most items. Books and some other items are 0% rated for VAT purposes. If you are purchasing from the Channel Islands or outside of the European Union then VAT will not be charged and the final invoice will reflect this. To calculate prices without VAT simply divide the price displayed by 1.175.

We use a variety of deivery services including RoyalMail. When you post a letter with Royal Mail, the price of the stamp does not have a VAT element. However, the rules currently in force mean that if we are sending goods to you which include any item where VAT has been charged to you we must add VAT to the cost of First Class postage. If we send a consignment to you which is wholly made up of zero rated or VAT exempt items we do not have to charge VAT on the delivery. All other delivery methods charge VAT.

Credit Card Security
When an order is placed on the web site we will pass the relevant personal and credit card details to a third party for validation. Any third party site will use 128bit encryption SSL, ensuring the safety of your details. The information will not be decrypted until it reaches their server. We cannot be held responsible for any lapse or failure of security by third party agents.

Returns Policy
We are dedicated to your satisfaction. If you wish to return any item you may do so by notifying us within 8 working days of the date of delivery provided that:

  • You have notified us within 8 working days of the date of delivery.
  • Goods MUST BE unused. Goods must be in their original condition & packaging.
  • Goods must be received back at our office within 30 days from the day you receive your order.
  • Any items that were ordered specially for you or personalised in any way are non-refundable.
  • If we suspect that the goods have been used or any of the above conditions are not met we reserve the right to return the goods without notice.
  • Items supplied in sealed packaging that have been opened are non refundable and non exchangeable. This includes but is not limited to: DVD, CD, software, and videos

Notice is given that free offers and our P&P costs will be accounted for if returned goods takes the order value below the free offer or, if part of the offer, free delivery level. The value of free offer goods will be deducted from any refund that may be due as will the cost of delivery. To avoid refund deductions please return any free offer goods with your returns if your order value will drop below the free offer level. 

All Packages returned to us unclaimed via the Royal Mail or any other delivery service we use will be subject to reshipping charges. Your credit card is charged in the name of The Red Dot Company Ltd. All claims for delivery shortages and damages must be reported to The Red Dot Company Ltd. by email, phone or letter within 3 business days of the delivery date.

All goods supplied by The Red Dot Company Ltd. remain the property of the The Red Dot Company Ltd. until such time as they are paid for in full.

The Red Dot Company Ltd. is compliant with the Data Protection Act. We will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent. We may, from time to time, send you information about products or services supplied by carefully selected third parties.
