Delivery options

We offer a range of delivery options so you can chose the one that is right for you:

Royal Mail First Class Recorded delivery

Normally takes 1-2 working days from the date of dispatch.

Express Delivery

If your entire order is in-stock and placed by 2pm we will ship it out on a next day courier if you require. You should note that next day delivery is a service which needs to be signed for. So you should be in between the hours of 8am and 1pm the working day following that day of your order. For instance if you order on a Tuesday you will need to have someone at your address on Wednesday. Bank Holidays and other public holidays are not working days for the purposes of delivery.

Delivery times

Delivery times quoted are the time in working days (Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding bank holidays) from the date of dispatch to the date of delivery. Some items are not in stock all the time and are either on order or will be ordered on demand. Therefore delivery times are not counted from the date you place your order.

Delivery charges explained.

Like many online stores we charge a delivery rate which is in proportion to the weight and size of the goods ordered. In order to do this most effectively we assign a per-delivery charge to your order plus a per item charge. This has proved to be the most effective method we have found to provide fair shipping prices to you.

The prices shown include VAT as VAT is chargable on all delivery services if we are shipping all or part of an order where VAT is chargable on any of the individual items. If your order contains a mixture of items which have VAT added and those which are zero rated then VAT is charged on the full value of the delivery charge.

We calculate your delivery charge by assigning a per-delivery cahrge top your order, we then add a per item charge on top of this. For instance if you order a box of recordable CDs you will be charged like this:

If you place an order with a mixture of different types of products your delivery charge is calculated by taking the highest Per-Delivery charge and adding each items PerItem charge. For example:
